Dr Siamack Bagheri

Having qualified as a dentist in 1987 from Bristol University, Siamack entered general practice for two years prior to embarking onto a hospital career. Following two years of resident oral surgery posts, Siamack attained the FDS from the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he then entered a three year Registrar post in Orthodontics at King's College of London and Queen Mary's, Sidcup. During this period Siamack attained his orthodontic qualifications from the Royal Colleges of England and Edinburgh as well as an MSc from the University of London. He is now the principal of five clinics. Siamack is heavily involved with various dental and orthodontic committees as well as being the founding member of the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Study Club.

Prof Martyn Cobourne

Martyn Cobourne graduated as a dental surgeon, from King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1990. He obtained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1994, an MSc in Orthodontics in 1996, Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997, followed by entry onto the Specialist List in Orthodontics of the General Dental Council, and a PhD in 2002. Further clinical training, rotating between Guy's and Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup led to the award of an Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Orthodontics of the Royal Colleges and accreditation as a Consultant Orthodontist. In 2003, Martyn was appointed as a Senior Lecturer and Honorary Consultant in Orthodontics at the Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Dental Institute, University of London. This is a full time position, but Martyn works as an associate at the St John's Wood Orthodontic Clinic part time, seeing both NHS and private patients.

Dr Geraldine Dooley

Geraldine Dooley qualified from Trinity College Dublin in 1990. After 5 years of general practice in Dorset and 2 years in hospital maxillofacial surgery she moved to London. She obtained her MOrth in 2002 after a 3 year postgraduate programme split between Guys Dental Hospital and the Queen Victoria Hospital, East Grinstead. Her MSc was obtained in the same period. Geraldine now works fulltime in specialist practice.

Over the same period Geraldine developed limited ability to ski and fence and has lost some of her ability for the games of squash and tennis. She also enjoys what the capital has to offer in terms of food and entertainment.

Dr Jackie Silvester

Jackie completed her undergraduate dental degree at King's College School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1992 and gained her Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997. During this time, she worked in children's dentistry and maxillofacial surgery in several London teaching hospitals and spent two years in general dental practice in Devon. Jackie was appointed as a Registrar in Orthodontics at King's College London Dental Institute and Orpington Hospital in 1997 and undertook specialist training in Orthodontics for three years. She was awarded an MSc in Orthodontics from the University of London in 1999 and a Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2000. She is registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics by the General Dental Council and is an active member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Dr Pragati Agarwal

Dr Pragati Agarwal is working as a Specialist Practitioner in Orthodontics, as well as formally working at Kingston Hospital. Dr Agarwal qualified in Dental Surgery from Bristol University in 1995, and subsequently worked in Oral and maxillofacial surgery and then Paediatric Dentistry before commencing a 3 year training programme in Orthodontics at Guys Hospital, London. She obtained a Masters degree in Orthodontics together with the Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Her Master’s thesis was on the measurement of facial aesthetics in surgical orthodontic adult patients, and aesthetics in the orthodontic patient, children and adults, continues to be of special interest to her. Since leaving Guy’s Hospital in 2004 she has worked in an Orthodontic Practice in London and maintained an interest in surgical cases through continued practice at Kingston Hospital, Surrey.

Dr Ariane Sampson

Ariane Sampson qualified from Barts and The London School of Medicine. She has worked as a general dentist in Cambridge, London and Devon, during which time she trained in Dental Implants and obtained her Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Ariane has held senior house officer and senior clinical fellow appointments in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry at Northwick Park, The Royal London and Addenbrookes Hospitals. Ariane then began Orthodontic specialty training at Addenbrookes and Luton & Dunstable Hospitals after which she gained her Membership in Orthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and her Masters in Orthodontics from Kings College, London. Ariane continues to carry out research into the links between social media and orthodontics.

Natalie Coomber

Natalie started working at this Practice in April 1989 where she began as a trainee Dental Nurse. She soon became passionate about Orthodontics deciding this was going to be her career and gained the NEBDN Dental Nurse Certificate in 1995, she attended numerous courses on Orthodontic Auxillary including those at the Eastman and Manchester Dental Hospitals, and has also attended courses for treatment coordination. Natalie likes to keep up to date with Orthodontics and has been to many Orthodontic Conferences, both here and in America. She qualified as an Orthodontic Nurse and then as an Orthodontic Therapist at Warwick University in 2011 and has also qualified in Dental Radiography.

Magdalena Stoney

Magdalena has entered the world of dentistry in 2004 as a dental nurse. Since then she has done various courses including orthodontic nursing and radiology. Magdalena has qualified as orthodontic therapist in 2009 at Preston University of Lancashire. Since then she has worked in Private and NHS sector in various practices in London and Kent. Magdalena is experienced with various removable and fixed appliances including many cosmetic appliances including Invisalign. She has been working at Simply Orthodontics since October 2016.
