Paul Dowsing qualified as a dentist in 1990 having attained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Manchester. Paul entered general dental practice for seven years where prior to embarking onto a hospital career he gained a Diploma in General Dental Practice (1997). Following two years of resident oral & maxilla-facial surgery posts, Paul attained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (1999). Paul then commenced Specialist Orthodontic training in 1999 at Birmingham Dental Hospital where he gained the Membership in Orthodontics (2002) as well as a Masters in Orthodontics (2006). Paul was appointed to a Fixed Term Training Appointment at Chesterfield Royal Infirmary in 2002 leading to the award of the Intercollegiate Speciality Fellowship in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (2005) as well as his accreditation as a Consultant Orthodontist. Finally, Paul was appointed Consultant Orthodontist at the Princess Royal Hospital, Telford in 2006 before eventually leaving to join Manor Orthodontic Clinic on a full-time basis.
